I am
currently breeding Scarlet's in the following colors; Normal Green ( wild color), Normal Green Red
Front, Cinnamon Green,
Cinnamon Red Front, Parblue Turquoise, Parblue Aqua.
The Scarlet Chested Parakeet is aviary type bird, with the most amazing
color, small compact size, quietness and a peaceful trusting nature. They can be kept in pairs or alone in a large cage or
aviary with other social birds: Cockatiels, Bourkes, Canaries and Social finches. Adult males can be housed together as long
as there are no hens present. Scarlets are approximately 8" tall, about the size
of a English Budgie. With good care these birds will live on an average of 8-10 years.
